Become a Member
The Athens Village is open to all who are 60 years of age or over and live in Athens County. Current members live in Athens, Albany, The Plains, Jacksonville, New Marshfield, and Nelsonville, as well as in county townships.
Dues for individuals are $450 per year; households pay $800. The Athens Village membership is a small investment compared to the average monthly cost of $3,060 to $6,175 for assisted living and/or skilled nursing care in Athens, Ohio. Additionally, the membership allows you to stay in the comfort of your home, surrounded by fond memories.
These may be paid annually or monthly by bank transfer. Friends and family can pay membership dues as gifts. The membership application can be downloaded here.
Become a Volunteer
The Village depends on volunteers. Anyone can donate time and talents. The Volunteer application can be downloaded here. Fill out the form, then either email it to theathensvillage@gmail.com, or mail it to The Athens Village, 94 Columbus Road, Building B, Athens OH 45701-1312.
Make a Donation
Anyone can support The Athens Village by making a tax-deductible donation. The Athens Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contact the office for information.
